The makeup for myself, my mom, my mother-in-law, and my aunts turned out beautifully. She helped us all feel beautiful on the outside while also help us radiate from the inside with all her compliments and conversations and laughs. It was great to have her get us ready because she and Gem (her twin who did our hair) really brought the high energy and made me feel so relaxed before the ceremony. I had done a trial run with them and loved the look she did on the first try. About a couple weeks before the wedding, I let her know that I wanted my brows to be a bit softer to be more what I'm used to - she takes feedback super well and really created my dream look the day of. For my moms and aunts, there was a wide range of people who knew exactly what they wanted and had a lot of specific requests vs people who just gave a general vision -- Gel did an amazing job on us all no matter what. She made all the bridesmaids, my mother, new mother in law and myself all look amazing! When the first trial didn't feel enough like me (even though it was still beautiful) she was able to accommodate a second trial and help me figure out exactly what I was looking for. I had Gel do my makeup for both my rehearsal dinner and day of wedding. Her work is truly gorgeous and she is so... accommodating. For my trial run, we tried airbrush for myself and learned that this type of makeup didn't work for my style, so we went with traditional makeup. Gel was able to fit me in for another makeup trial just before my wedding to make sure we got the look down right. Truly she is so kind, funny, talented and organized. Where do I start?? This woman is an incredible makeup artist! She is professional, fun, somehow fast with perfect... results, and also acts as your hype woman! She did makeup for my 4 bridesmaids, my Mother and Mother in Law and myself for my recent wedding. Gel played music all morning, came prepared, was encouraging, made us ALL feel beautiful, and just made for an easy and seamless process. We were even ahead of schedule for my big day. I hired Gel for my March 2022 wedding. I knew at the beginning of wedding planning that I wanted to hire Gel! I've seen... her business flourish as a lurker for awhile and her results never disappointed. I just had to have her as my makeup artist!
I loved working with Gel! Her energy and the aura she gives off is absolutely positive and welcoming. I never once felt intimidated working with Gel. I felt comfortable in relaying the vision I wanted for my makeup look and was confident in her skills to portray exactly what I wanted.
The trial run was done at her home. She had a lovely studio area set up for it. Even though I wasn't specific in what I wanted done, I knew the general direction I wanted it to go, and Gel was able to make that happen! You bet I put that makeup to the test. I wore that look till midnight! haha
And I didn't think it was possible, but Gel somehow made my makeup the day of the wedding look EVEN BETTER than it did during the trial run!
I am so thankful to her for making me feel the most beautiful on this special day.
If you are currently contemplating on who you should have as your makeup artist, I highly suggest Gel. You don't need to take my word for it though. Her work speaks for itself!read more

Trial run - We completed the trial run in Bremerton at Gel’s home studio. The space is beautiful, easy to find, and there is plenty of street parking. Gel agreed to still meet despite it being a complete snowstorm outside! (I currently live out of state and had limited days while in the area). Gel is also very receptive to feedback and wants you to look and feel your best! (Not that I had much feedback to give because she is just that darn good!)
Wedding Day - Gel and her sister Gem travelled all the way to Seattle for our wedding. We asked for an 11am call time and they showed with plenty of time before to set up and get situated. They completed my sister, best friend, mom and MIL in record time and left plenty of time to get me super dolled up. They made the moms feel so comfortable and were flexible with changes the Titas asked for. They made my sister and best friend also feel so comfortable! Ladies….. let me just say…. Gel is beyond amazing! I had a last minute black tie event to go to and I reached out to... Gel for a same day session….. Gel responded quickly & had an opening for that day….. I texted her photos of the dress that I would be wearing & she prepped the perfect colors for me to compliment my look….. I wanted a Hollywood glam look with smoky eyes…..when I arrived, Gel was warm & friendly….. she asked me if there were any special products that I use, what my skin type & allergies were….. as a critical care nurse, this is huge that a professional asks about allergies & sensitivities…… her studio was adorable & was very sanitary….. Gel & I chatted & laughed as if we were old friends…..I told Gel to work her magic & I trusted her vision…… my appointment was at 2 & the event didn’t start until 7:30, so I was a bit weary that my makeup wouldn’t last throughout the night…… Hunnay, let me tell you …… not only did my makeup look amazing when I left the studio, but my makeup didn’t smear or have any shiny areas….. I danced from 7:30pm- 2 a.m.…… my makeup still looked on point, any I was ridiculously sweaty! I received so many compliments from others at the event….. I have met Gel from Sephora and she has done a couple makeovers for me in the past years and she is very artistic,... talented, creative with her work. She is very honest too and will give me advices and tips on how to apply makeup and give me knowledge as well. Amazing job on her portfolio! She also did my pin-up look for a photoshoot as well! Gel did the makeup for my wedding and a photo shoot. Let me tell you - she is incredible! She has years of experience... and is great at what she does. I have very red and textured skin, in addition to hooded eyes. I was worried to have someone I don't know use my face as a "canvas," but she did an amazing job. She asked me what I wanted, and delivered far above my expectations. My makeup lasted all day and literally did not budge or slide off (my face is also a huge oil slick). She is very sanitary and only touches your face with a clean brush. I had no breakouts or reactions to any of her work, which is a huge plus for my sensitive skin. She is also an amazing woman, and a joy to work with. I highly recommend her!read more
